Uncharted was an event for like-minded individuals to discover, engage, and share ideas that are worth sharing. It was a space where stories and discoveries from the past, present, and future collided. We showcased creative and innovative epiphanies that were yet to be put on the map, the Uncharted. We sought beyond the unknown, disrupted the status quo, and immersed ourselves in a state of enlightenment through the voices of ten speakers all with unique stories to share.

Mavericks, Rebels, Rivals, Contrary, Antithesis, Non-Conformist. How does doing something out of the ordinary lead to revolution? Speakers were invited to tell their stories of standing up and standing out. The idea for TEDxSFU 2012 was inspired by the proverb "see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil". The message to the audience was to never turn a blind eye in difficult situations. We were encouraged to see the world through a different lens, to do things out of the ordinary and to base our assumptions on real world experiences.
